Is Apathy The Apocalypse For Emotions?
…the opposite of love is not hate — it’s apathy. It’s not giving a damn. If somebody hates me, they must “feel” something … or they couldn’t possibly hate. Therefore, there’s some way in which I can get to them.
Apathy is the cardinal sin of humans. To let go of emotions so that you stop feeling whatever was bothering you. Creating an invisible wall around you in which no one’s feelings can crawl through.
